Hello, lovely friends.
I found this wonderful shower cleaner recipe through Pinterest from the Food.com website.
I've been using it for a few weeks now to make sure that it actually works. I absolutely love it!
Homemade shower cleaner recipe ~
Warm 12 oz. of vinegar in the microwave (I did it for only a minute). Pour into spray bottle.
Add 12 oz. Dawn original liquid dish soap.
Seal the cover and shake gently.
That's it! Super easy, super cheap.
My shower just shines now! Shake the bottle before every use. I find that a little goes a long way. It really does cut the soap scum build up. There is a vinegar smell to it, but the dawn soap is so strong it's really not bad at all. I also love the bright blue color because you can't miss any spots in the shower when rinsing.
Try it out, you'll love it!
Love,

OK, silly question... this is for cleaning the shower, not for using after showering to keep it clean, right? Also, do you scrub, or did I miss that in the post...? thanks
I thought I had the right "recipe" for this but didn't. Thanks for this, I have GOT to try this and HOPE it works. We are selling our house and I want our shower to SHINE too:):) XO, Pinky
Great idea! I will have to try.

This sounds great! It will make an awful chore easier. Thank you for following my blog.

Hi Jamie! Seems like the shower is always the last thing to get clened. Maybe this will make it easier. Thanks for the tip!
I mean cleaned. Haha!! So nice to know you stopped by!
Great tip, Jamie, especially if it works. I like that it is only the two ingredients and I actually have them in my house already!
I will have to try this. I just made my own detergent so might as well make this, too and the shower does need a good scrubbing and I am out of cleaner.
I will try this! Now following you! Hugs,
Anne
I'll have to try this! Anything to make cleaning the shower easier ;)

Thanks so much. I love recipes for home cleaning products!
Great post, nice tips. (I can't use dawn, allergies) but I can use my regular soap.
thanks!

This is great. Gotta try. We don't have Dawn here but maybe you can tell me what it is made of. I can try a local brand instead.
anyhow, thank you for sharing, and participation in the party http://www.finecraftguild.com/party/ we'll feature a few people and have a new party tomorrow.
hope to see you there again!
