Homemade Granola Recipe ~

Hello, lovely friends!

I found this delicious granola recipe on one of my very favorite blogs ~ Keeping it Cozy. You have to check out this blog. It's simply beautiful! I know you'll fall in love with it like I did. You can find Andrea's post here. Also the link to the original granola recipe here.

Granola Recipe ~

3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. fine grain sea salt
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
1/3 cup 100% maple syrup
1/4 cup raw honey
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper.
In a large bowl stir together the oats, cinnamon, salt, raisins, and almonds.
In a small bowl whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, raw honey, and vanilla
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture. Stir to coat well.
Transfer the oat mixture to the prepared pan.
Bake for 25 - 35 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

* Store for up to two weeks in an airtight container or freeze

Dry ingredients

Make sure to stir the liquid ingredients really well so that the syrups don't burn

I stirred the mixture quite a few times to make sure it was mixed really well

Before baking

After baking ~ golden brown delicious homemade granola!

I baked the granola for a little over 25 minutes. I think about 22 minutes would have been perfect for my oven. Next time I'll be sure to stir the sides a little better as they got a little dark.

I have been enjoying this granola every morning for breakfast! I can't get enough of it. My husband has been snacking on it a lot too. I'm going to try and make granola clusters next time for more snacking.

I hope you check out Andrea's blog and that you enjoy this recipe as well!

Love,
