Happy fall, dear friends!
It's my most favorite time of year and, as always, I had to decorate my home to herald in the fall season
Welcome to our home ~

Welcome to our home ~
My little fall display out on the front stoop
My autumn sign I bought at a craft show a few years ago
With candles glowing, the corners of our home are brightened as the days darken earlier and a chill is starting to be felt in the air
The candles are so warm and cozy, don't you think?!
Decorating with natural elements like pumpkins, acorns, and pine cones is always so homey and simple, not to mention thrifty!
A beautiful sign that a dear friend made and gave to me for my birthday ~ She knows how much I love fall! You can visit her Facebook page Here.
My music page pumpkin that I made last year
This window box is something I picked up at an antique store up north with birthday money from my Dad. My plan is to decorate it for the seasons like I do with everything else in my home!
A little wreath that I whipped up the day that I started my fall decorating
I wrapped a Styrofoam wreath with old sheet music, then wrapped my fall wiring with leaves, pumpkins, and berries (that I pull out every year to use in my fall decor). I then tied a bow with the last of my ribbon from my daughter's coffee filter wreath that I made for the door to her nursery

Just some of the mini-pumpkins from my garden - we harvested twenty-eight of them
I decided my mantel looked like it was missing a little something after I saw a beautiful burlap leaf banner at a local greenhouse. It was a bit pricey so I decided to make one myself.
Dining Room ~
The buffet
My new place-mats were a birthday gift from my Mother-in-law. The great thing about having a late August birthday is that there are always plenty of fall items out when we go on my annual birthday shopping trip! I inevitably come home with at least one fall item every year
Family ~
My baby girl and I ~ Miss Olivia is now 15 months old!
This little lady brings joy and laughter into our home every single day!
This is a photo from my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's wedding a few weeks ago

(I just had to have a picture of us sitting on that old chippy chair)
Here's another peak at my updated mantel ~
Tomorrow I'll post a little tutorial on how I made this super easy leaf banner.
Update:
Here's the link to my Burlap Leaf Banner Tutorial
You can see how I've decorated for fall in the past ~
Lots of love,

Oh, Jamie! Your fall home tour is gorgeous, and I'm so inspired to get into my craft room and start creating. I love your sheet music-wrapped wreath, your window box, and your place mats, and I'm really dying to see your tutorial for your leaf banner. I must have one of those!! I'm super envious of your little pumpkin harvest and am wondering if I could grow those too next year. Your rug in front of the fireplace is just made for fall, and your buffet is perfect; I love the wall decor over it! As usual, my very favorites are the family photos. Beautiful! How Olivia is growing! She's so darling. Happy Fall, Jamie!
That looks so warm and cozy Jamie! I love all of the pumpkins, my collection of mini pumpkins keeps growing in my dining room every time I go to the grocery! Olivia is a doll! I love your maple leaf garland. Is it brown craft paper/AKA grocery bags? It looks great and easy to do.

Your home looks lovely for Fall, Jamie! How cool that you grew your own pumpkins. Definitely a way to save some money! Love the leaf banner, too. Your dining room also is looking great and I love those placemats.
Olivia is just beautiful! I can't believe how big she has gotten. She is so precious! Love the picture of you all together.
What an adorable family!!! YOur house is perfect! Goodness you went all out of fall decor, your mantle is perfect. I am such a dud at seasonal decorating, I am in awe of so many of you that do such an outstanding job.
