Hello, dear friends!
I have a little wreath project that I whipped up to welcome in spring.
As you know, I like to use what I have around the house when possible instead of going out to buy items every time the mood strikes to do a little crafting.
I bought this grapevine wreath last year and it's just been laying around waiting for me to make a wreath ever since. I've used the forsythia in my spring decor for a few years now in a door hanger tin hanging on my front door, but it's time to change things up a little bit this spring!
I love forsythia! It's such a pretty flower. I'm not usually a fake flower fan but they seem do a pretty good job of making fake forsythia. I never want to cut off the real branches from our bush in the backyard either. I pretty much always have raffia on hand too and I found a never used bunch on my craft supply shelves. Love when that happens!
I simply cut off the ends of the branches of the forsythia and wrapped them around and through the vines on the wreath. I then wrapped and knotted the raffia in several bunches around the side and tied a bow to finish it off.
Now to start thinking about my Easter decorating around the house!
